BlueRoom Simulations wins Emerging Exporter at the 2026 Governor of Victoria Export Awards

Announced on 3 September, the award marks an exciting milestone for our team as we take Victorian simulation technology to the world. BlueRoom began with a practical challenge: how do you prepare people to deliver critical care in environments that are difficult to access for training?
Our mixed reality technology allows learners to use their own hands, real medical equipment and manikins within immersive environments, from aircraft cabins to remote operational settings. It gives medical, aeromedical, defence and emergency-response teams opportunities to practise the skills they need in the settings where they may need to use them. Explore how BlueRoom works.
From our headquarters in Melbourne, we design, manufacture and support systems for customers in Australia and overseas. Seeing technology developed here in Victoria reach training teams around the world is something we’re deeply proud of. Each international relationship brings us into contact with people facing different operational challenges, but sharing a common priority: preparing their teams for the moments that matter. Our Victorian win has also brought an exciting invitation: BlueRoom Simulations is now a national finalist in the Emerging Exporter category at the 64th Australian Export Awards.
We’ve been invited to join fellow finalists, government representatives and industry leaders at the national awards ceremony at Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday 18 November 2026. There, we’ll be in the running for the national Emerging Exporter award and the title of Australian Exporter of the Year.
It’s an honour to represent Victoria and stand alongside Australian businesses taking their products, services and ideas to international markets. For our team, this is an opportunity to celebrate how far we’ve come and share our ambition to bring practical, immersive training to more organisations around the world.
