Tokyo, Japan — 1–3 October 2025 Last week, we attended SEECAT 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s dedicated exhibition for counter‑terrorism and public‑safety solutions. SEECAT is a closed event that brings together government agencies, first responders and industry to evaluate new capabilities, including simulators, training equipment, and rescue/emergency medicine technologies.
Partnering locally with Wako Shoji Co., Ltd.
We were delighted to engage on‑site with our local partner Wako Shoji, a long‑standing importer and distributor of emergency medical equipment in Japan. Wako Shoji brings deep know‑how in the Japanese market.
What this partnership means for customers in Japan
Local expertise & support: Japanese‑language engagement, procurement guidance and maintenance through an established medical supplier.
Regulatory readiness: Wako Shoji’s experience with medical certification and documentation streamlines pathways for compliant deployment.
Mission fit: A portfolio spanning medical devices and training systems that align naturally with the BlueRoom Mixed Reality Simulator.
What we demonstrated
Across the three days, we walked visitors through MR training flows relevant to Japanese agencies and hospital teams, including:
Casualty care under movement: wound packing/bleeding control, airway/vent management and handover cues inside an airframe‑accurate cabin.
Winch/transfer workflows for SAR and coastal rescue scenarios.
Team communication and role clarity drills that standardise procedures across bases and partner agencies.
Thank You, Tokyo
A sincere thank‑you to the SEECAT organisers, to everyone who joined us for demos and conversations, and ありがとうございます to our colleagues at Wako Shoji for the warm welcome and productive event.
