Kielce, Poland, 2–5 September 2025: BlueRoom Simulations partnered with Skills Meducation to showcase their Mixed Reality (MR) Aeromedical & TCCC simulator at MSPO for the first time. The event took place at Targi Kielce, within the Australian Defence Pavilion.

Why MSPO and Why Now

MSPO is a significant event that gathers defence, public safety, and medical stakeholders from across Europe. It serves as a platform to evaluate new capabilities, from training systems and simulators to rescue and medical support solutions. As services strive for repeatable, high-fidelity practice, MR technology offers hands-on skills training with real equipment. This enables team decision-making in a full-scale synthetic environment, available on demand and at a lower operational cost.

What We Demonstrated

Aeromedical MR

We presented airframe-accurate cabin workflows. This included on-scene care, en-route critical care, and transfer-of-care scenarios.

TCCC MR

Our training covered end-to-end processes across Care Under Fire → Tactical Field Care → TACEVAC. This encompassed MARCH, airway/vent support, and haemorrhage control techniques such as tourniquets and wound packing. We also focused on ATMIST/MIST handovers.

Instructor Mission Control & Debrief

We highlighted objective timings and task completion. The replay feature allows teams to turn practice into measurable improvement.

Local Configuration

Our simulator matched European equipment profiles, checklists, and documentation. This ensures that training directly maps to real-world operations.

Partnering in Europe: Skills Meducation

We were proud to collaborate with Skills Meducation, a Netherlands-based distributor. They focus on medical simulation and skills-lab solutions for healthcare, defence, and emergency services. Their extensive portfolio and experience make them a strong local partner for deployment, support, and procurement across Europe.

What We Heard at the Stand

During the event, we gathered valuable insights:

  • There is a growing demand for low-frequency/high-consequence training. This includes major haemorrhage control, RSI, and maritime transfer, which need to be repeated consistently.

  • There is significant interest in multi-agency interoperability. This involves shared communications and clear role definitions among defence, ambulance, fire, and police services.

  • Requirements for data-rich debriefing are increasing. This supports readiness reporting, credentialing, and continuous improvement.

The Future of Mixed Reality Training

Advancements in Technology

The landscape of training is evolving rapidly. Mixed Reality is at the forefront of this change. It allows for immersive experiences that enhance learning and retention. As technology advances, we expect to see even more sophisticated simulations that can replicate complex scenarios.

Expanding Reach

Skills Meducation will be conducting a large number of demonstrations throughout Europe until the end of the year. This will provide more opportunities for stakeholders to experience the capabilities of our MR simulator firsthand.

Collaborations and Partnerships

We believe that collaboration is key to advancing training solutions. By partnering with local distributors and stakeholders, we can ensure that our technology meets the specific needs of various regions. This approach fosters innovation and drives improvements in training methodologies.

Thank You, Poland

Dziękujemy to the MSPO organisers and everyone who joined us in Kielce. We appreciated the conversations and the opportunity to exhibit our Mixed-Reality simulator.

What’s Next in Europe
